handmade flower pin

Hi there!
Yesterday I was deeeeeply inspired by hair do tutorials on Utube so I decided to make a flower pin myself. It's the simplest way to refresh your ordinary look. And it looks realy pretty, helps to create the 40's or 50's hairstyle if you want to.
So I took an old black nylon sock, some piece of wire, a bit of cotton wool for the flower heart and some thread with a needle. First of all I made a frame of wire - 2 items of 3 petals connected with each other & 1 item of 1 petal. after that I began to put frame into the nylon somehow and secure this nylon for frame to stay inside of it. I made it twice to each petal.
For the flower heart I put the cotton wool into nylon either and tied it up properly. Remember to do it two time in a row again. Then i connected a petal with nyloned cotton wool.
Don't forget to put all the parts together =)

No comparison with crapy Dita Von Teesse or whatever her name is.

 

Shoes

These shoes are not exactly retro style type of things, but I completely fell in love with them. The first time I've seen them was when I looked though the photos of an unknown girl. I thought it would be funny to have these ones. So I picked up the phone dialed my girl-friend's number and asked her where can I find these amazing shoes. It didn't take her a minute to name me the trade mark. Few days later a rushed to that store. And here we go, they're mine now! Hurray!!

The next thing i'm goin to buy is vintage brooch. Here it is:
